Your website is your '"welcome mat" to the world and is quite often the first contact a person has with your business. Ask yourself this question—What kind of impression are potential customers getting from my site? Is it a positive one? Are they seeing a professional looking site or one that is obviously out-dated? A well-designed site says we care about our customers and our business. A positive first impression improves credibility and credibility leads to sales.
A great website can make a small business look like a giant corporation and a bad website can make a giant corporation look like it has no idea what it's doing.
The same reason you hire a professional to install a new furnace, shingle your roof or put up a fence. You hire a professional to design your website so the job gets done right and you don’t have to find the time in an already busy workday. Designing a clean, concise, attractive and informational website is part art and part technical know how. You could take hundreds of hours and learn how to do this yourself, but how much money will you lose during that time?
Have you ever been on the web and visited a site that has a lot of 'under construction' pages? Most likely this is a site being designed by a friend or relative. There is a just a lack of professionalism doing things this way. If your friend owned a hammer and saw and once built a birdhouse, would you have him/her remodel your kitchen? Probably not. We've taken on several clients who were having a friend or relative make a website for them and they had been working on it literally for years. A website is simply too important to leave it to untrained amateurs. Is this an arrogant statement? Maybe a little, but we sincerely believe it and are here to help your business succeed.
Your website is the first impression that many people will have about your business. It is one of the most important things you must have to be successful in today's fast paced world. Why trust something this important to amateurs?? We've taken on several clients who tried to do their site themselves only to become frustrated or unhappy with the results.
Have you ever landed on a home page cluttered with so many different avenues you are overwhelmed with choices? A viewer to your site should be able to figure out what to do and where to go in a few seconds. If it’s not easy, they will probably skip right over your site and go on to the next one-because there’s always another site to look at for the information they need. By viewing the sample gallery of our work, you'll see that easy navigation is one of the cornerstones of our designs.
One of the most important aspects of helping you with your website is finding the reason for it's existence. Is it for information distribution or maybe an online store? Is it for current clients, prospective clients or a combination of the two? Will it be used in conjunction with ad campaigns? Do you transact business locally or globally? We have an extensive Q&A we use during our design meetings so we can deliver your message in a clear, concise and attractive format.
No matter the purpose of your site, we put ourselves into the chair or your site visitor when designing your website. Why are they on your site and how can we get them what they need?
Only a professional will be able to optimize your site with the proper key words and descriptions so it has a better chance to getting found by the search engines. The world of search engines is constantly changing and the techniques used several years ago are no longer effective, and in fact, may actually be hurting your ranking or cause you to be banned from the site. Yes - you read that right - you could be banned from search engines. You can read more on our search engine optimization page.
To make your life easier, we have several packages that meet the needs of most business owners. Many website design companies say they have to give every client a custom quote which is usually code for "How much can we get." With flat fee packages, there are no surprises. Of course, there are some website designs that need a custom quote as they simply don't fit into one of our packages. In those cases, we are happy to custom design a package for you.
You can download our current price list from the white papers and downloads page.
